Men ring

Been hunting for his ring before. Turn out, men's ring are much expansive than woman.

 haha..sungguh tak berdaya! I want platinum for him. 

kesian la kan, kalau perempuan boleh pulak he spend so much for wedding band, 

necklace, gelang emas yang gedabak la, cincin yang sampai dua tiga kali dapat. 

Kena la adil lagipun, this is for our wedding. 

However, before spending so much for him, it's better if we give something for our parents dulu. 

So, found his ring at Diamond&Platinum. A very plain ring, memang takde batu ke hapa. 

Sebab if so, memang bertambah la kos aku.kahkah.. Actually, he doesn't mind if I just bought him silver ring,

 tp takkan la nak kasi yang 45 hengget ja for him.

 kesian sungguh dengarnya, nak jimat budget pun, kena la consider jugak kan.

The design was approved by us.hee..yang nak tengok adalah si isteri. 

Jadi, kenalah pilih yang mana isteri berkenan.haha..

The price, memang betul-betul apa yang we both nak. 

Memang happy bukan main sebab tak payah spend so much!haha

For men's ring, it's quite pricey if you want platinum. 

At D&P, memang banyak selection, just sediakan duit aja.

Memandangkan, we both bukan kaya raya nak memilih cincin sampai 8 9 ribu, memadailah yang 

tak over budget kn.haha..as long as we both happy.

No extra charge if u want to engrave,

but if nak make larger than 2 sizes, u have to pay for extra.

overall, yeay, sikit je lagi nak habes for the hantaran!

p/s: menolong membuang beads di baju sendiri.patut la designer charge mahal!

HIV test

Took my form long before. I only receive borang O and borang warna hijau. I get confused sebabnya siDia cakap, he got borang HIV untuk pengantin.Bdw, he's from Johor. But mine none!
 Takut terlupa ambil and have to go back to take another borang. So I text my friend and she said JAIP memang bagi dua borang ja. Panic tau!

I did mine at KK Kuala Perlis. kat sini, HIV test boleh buat hari selasa and untuk 15 orang je sehari.Start from 2pm. Lepas berdrama-tak-nak-kawen semalam, haha..terus pecut g klinik sebab dah lambat. Sambil doa supaya sempat la buat ujian tu.

Sampai pukul 2.40, then register. Ambil masa jugak la untuk register, so be prepared with something kalau datang sorang. While waiting, my phone turn off sbb dah habes battery, so memang melangut la tengok orang dekat situ, which is sometime I lose my patience. 

actually nurse2 semua tu bukannya goyang kaki. They did their job efficiently so hang tak payah la cakap macam-macam. Ala, kalau derang nak berehat sekejap, let it be la. Bukannya robot pun kn nak kerja sepanjang masa. Cuma, jangan la sampai menganggu pesakit kenn?

So, it turn out, alhamdulillah.dah boleh kawen..yeaa..haha..gatai hang no! The nurse ask if I want to do thalasemia test. Dah alang-alang nak kawen ni, terus setuju dgn laju. Haha..But I have to come the next morning, which is this morning utk ambil sample darah.

Sampai klinik, tengok macam kena ambil banyak je darah terus kecut perut.Haha..jantung laju je berdegup.kahkah..tp tengok nenek tu relax ja siap boleh bergelak-ketawa, so calm down a bit. Haish, kalu nak bersalin nanti cemana la hoih!

This process sekejap je. This time, tak tunggu lama sebab semalam dah isi borang bagai. In less than an hour, dah boleh siap. So, my HIV test and thalasemia test finally DONE!

invitation card

Actually, we have 2 invitation card, the one we did at kadkahwinku.com, while the other one, I haven't decide yet.haha..so ironic! The first card only reserve for 400 guests while I need to prepare another 500 cards. 

For the seconds card, we want a basic and simple card. First time saw Maya Karin's invitation card, terus jatuh hati. I love the simple design like this one white black and white theme, both wanted to preserve the earth so I think, they put the message on the card.

kisah baju kahwin

Surveying for fabric and the style that you want is so difficult. One day, you want this, the next day, you want that. Till now, I haven't decide what I want for my sanding dress. Now you know how difficult it may sound. 

Befor this, we already survey the fabric at Jakel jln Tar, Gulatis and others. Because of the colour choice, it is very difficult to find one. We choose fuchsia as our theme, and knowing the trend right know, pastel colour and white are dominate in many fabric store. It left very little to our liking. 

Gulatis offer many selection and many beautiful fabric, but we already set our mind, p cari kain yang kaler fuschia ONLY!haha..like hawk, mata semua memang tak cari kaler lain. Haha..once they don't have the colour, terus keluar. jangan nak bazir masa la kn, dari Perlis ke kl semata-mata, so then kena cepat2 la.

One more thing, you should know how tired you are during this time. Penat tau nak bertekak pasal harga kain kat situ, haha..yerla. Win-win situation katanya. 

We found one dekat Jakel Shah Alam. They seroiusly have so many selection la. But you have to be so tegas la sikit takut kena tipu. It's fully beaded. Menepati la apa yang we want. Although, it's a bit pricey.sobsob..

Fell off the wagon. Love the colour

While for akad nikah, my mom already bought the kain during their visit for umrah. It's also fully beaded, and in off white. I think, if you happened to visit Mecca, and have some time, jenguk-jenguk la kedai kain diaorang. They also have so many fabric and the price is cheaper than what we paid for my sanding kain. Memang puas hati and worth every penny. Kain pun not so light, berat je rasa. 

Kain for akad dah di gunting. It's very simple kurung moden. For baju sanding, hold dulu. Bila dah siap, then baru di proceed. May Allah ease everything and my baju fit nicely. I kinda hoping that I'll be so kurus!haha

the formal visit

Since we started dating, memang tak pernah terlintas nak p wat site visit kt rumah siDia.haha..sebab jauh bukan main, tak daya nak p. So dah bertunang ni, my family think that we should balas kunjungan orang jauh. So that, roger sana sini, tetiba jadi ramai pulak nak mengikut. sampai 20 orang, ha dah jadi macam rombongan nak meminang pihak lelaki. huhu..7 April tu, semua memang takde nak buat apa, so semua pun rela hati nak mengikut. 

Tips orang tua-tua, nak p rumah bakal in-laws, better wear baju kurung. Mula macam rasa tak relevan ja nak berkurung bagai, tapi rupanya, ha nasib baik ikut cakap, tak melawan. Kalau tak malu ja. Dasar pompuan nak moden je kn, padahal tak moden mana pun.ishish..  

From Klang to his house, we take a rest at Sremban, then shoot to Kluang. Ha kau, jauh rasa. It takes nearly 5hours, biasa la bila dah buat rombongan ni, the most tired one ialah bila kena tunggu menunggu. Tapi sebab excited, which my last visit to Ayer Hitam nearly 14 years ago, so memang tak ingat la rupa tempat tersebut, semua pun da. Kluang is the opposite to Ayer Hitam, straight away from the Plaza tol Ayer Hitam to Kluang, it only takes 20 mins. 

When we arrived, his mother sangat terkejut. Haha..she thought that only 7 people. Ini kerja siDia yang tak faham baca msg.kahkah.. I told him to pack the goodies for 7 kids but he mistood for 7 adults. Ha kelam kabut tuan rumah prepare semua. haha..First time p umah FIL, mcm malu gila dgn family dia. bak kata mak dia, malu tapi mahu rasa macam bukan rumah sendiri, dah memang pun kan, tak payah nak mengada la kau,kahkah..

Tapi everything went smooth, alhamdulillah..time to bid goodbye. Everyone was so excited nak shopping kt Ayer Hitam. Dapat la kerepek as buah tangan(Johor style la ni..).Pack macam nak jual lg.haha..thank you so much la for them.

Dah sampai ke Ayer Hitam ni, because it's already late, so then we didn't explore so much. Mana kedai yang jual pasu and barang pengantin, masuk, survey then amek then terus bayar. Ha tak sempat nak compare harga. We bought glass jar, sangkar telur and riben. The price is so-so, because we didn't suvey kt Nilai, so dah jumpa terus beli. We bought in small amount only sebab fikir nanti beli tempat lain. So that, kalau termahal ke apa, takde la rugi sangat.haha..dasar kede...eh bukan kede tapi berjimat.

Overall, half of the kerja kawen ni dah siap but banyak lagi nak kena survey and DIY (my mom said that I will do half way, hangat-hangat tahi ayam katanya..huuhuu..for my wedding, I try my best la mommy). So right now, let it be in the room, cari benda lain pulak. (hoi, borang kawin pun tak siap lag...haha)

solemnization dress

A very long silence!haha..been so busy with research progress, need to speed up some work due to the wedding sampai kadang-kadang i have to postponed all the wed preps =(

So, my designer cum my tailor is my proud mommy!hee..I didn't have any confident to hire other tailor or designer (tak mampu..huhu) as I know, if mom will sew my wedding dress, I'll be the proud daughter to wear it! Before this, ada rasa nak hantar to tailor yang memang specialize in wedding dress, but then nowadays, semuanya memang ribu-riban.tak mampu mak!haha..if to send to any regular tailor yang ambil tailoring for wedding dress, i dont feel any confident! I know my mom can sew the best wedding dress which I cant find in any store. Lagipun, lebih senang deal with my own mother. From the fabric choosing and design, Mom's know best!

So here some tips which can be applied in choosing the wedding dress style:

So, knowing that I dont have oh-so-perfect-model-body, kena choose betul-betul. When looked to any design dress, I have my opinion. 

1. The look

The first thing is I love the classic look. I dont want looking into my wedding photo, dah tahu dah bila trend tu bermula.hehe..So, I want something yang very the classic, so I want beaded. For me, every bride look like 'bride' if she wear beaded. Bling-bling sungguh! No offence. Sekarang ni, everyone opt for simple, like dinner dress. I adore them too. Sangat cantik and pretty enough.

2. Style

If I wear empire cutting, mesti nampak gemuk!no no no, nightmare! and if terlalu ketat, rasanya tak sopan for us. Too lose, u look like the dress wear you. So I love mermaid or A-line. Dah tau dah tak berapa nak tinggi, so tak nak la the train is too long and no kembang-kembang.Im afraid I look big.

Actually, hari-hari tengok wed dress, hari-hari nak tukar the design. HAHA.but when looked through all the photos, I know what I actually want! So, antara yang asek duk tatap siang malam, bukak-tutup, termimpi-mimpi, haa.. here some of it. All of them I find from the internet.
